Great place to come . This new shopping center has great stores , restaurants and a great theater. There’s also a gym and adjacent to Downy Landing shopping Center .

I went to Benihana's at the Promenade in Downey. The wait wasn't bad at all. We were there to celebrate my nephew's birthday 🎂 and what started out as a group of six grew to a group of 14 while we were waiting for service. Of course since we weren't all originally together we were seated in two different areas. Just by coincidence two tables had just finished and we asked if we could use those two tables. This is when we found out that a manager with care, concern and compassion can make an alright last minute birthday plan turn into a Awesome 👌 BIRTHDAY DINNER. My nephew was overjoyed because he had came in town from San Diego and my other relatives had just come in from Texas. The manager's name is Lathan Bryant. She is an asset to the Benihana Restaurant Corporation. I will return to that restaurant again. As the Chef's presentation and the food was 👍 great. Thank you, Ms. Lathan Bryant.

This place has really grown and transformed over the past two years!! I am amazed at the growth and the stores here. There is a super huge selection of stores. Everything you need is here from the gym to the movies to restaurants to clothing to home needs.

Had a nice Halloween dinner with my wife at Olive Restobar. We split the cauliflower and the hummus and added the crisps. Wife had a slider and a couple of cocktails and I had the filet panini, which I took half home! We enjoy eating here. And they had Día de los Muertos decorations.

The place overall is huge. It's not a mall but a ton of different stores spread out over the property that used to be Rockwell International Space Division. There's tributes to the various space Missions and such. It's really a huge place with Kaiser hospital, a baseball field, etc. It's not all under the title Promenade but also Landing and a few other titles. But it's all adjacent to one another. If you are looking for a certain retail establishment, odds are it's there.

Inside playground. Good place to bring the kids to play and have fun with other kids and make new friends.

This newer outdoor shopping area feels modern and clean. Lots of dining options, plus a movie theater. Parking is easy and free. Nice for an evening out. A good addition to the area.
